Is there anything in the works to post Acharya's video and blog response (a major source for part 1) to the MASSIVE amount of Anti-Zeitgeist videos? She is about the only one alive who can respond to defend herself while Gerald Massey etc, are no longer alive to defend themselves.

Zeitgeist has been viewed over 15 MILLION times now worldwide in several languages.

I vote to post the video/blog if you're interested in showing the counter argument at all. But that may just be me, interested in open discussion and scholarly debate _base_d on facts and evidence.

Also, if you're really confident then make the challenge serious, $250??? Why would anybody waste their time. Make it $10,000 AT LEAST!

If we had 10,000 dollars, we'd offer it, but since we're actually honest people, we can't offer beyond that which we can afford to pay out.

It's been months and there's not even been a serious attempt at this.

You would think that if it were possible someone could check the "official" sources and produce some factual basis for the claims.

Even for a couple hundred bucks...

What I find a bit curious is why spend money on a documentary to prove that it's all rubbish. you talk about sources that will prove the information shown on Zeistgeist is accurate.

What concerns me is that Zeitgeist is about thre parts and not only the religious part.

Zeistgeist talks about institutions and not just religion.

Is it about fear that some maybe true and that Christian religion (and others) maybe _base_s on mytholgy

Aziz is a member of Acharya S.'s little True Believing cult who assemble to back-pat each other in her two yahoo forum groups. In this post, Aziz makes and absurd and transparent attempt to throw off suspicion about Acharya's book and her being a crank and hack author. He does this by stating that if the owners of this site would offer a significantly larger amount of money for the challenge, it would be accepted...presumably accepted by Acharya S. herself AND/OR any other members of her True Believer cult.
This is absurd of course. The existence of the Zeitgeist Challenge serves to throw instant doubt on the claims and reasoning and "facts" Acharya S. offers her readers. This in and of itself should easily be enough to get Acharya S. to take the challenge regardless of how much money was being offered, or even if no money at all was being offered!!!
In fact, ANY credible author who had their work questioned with demands for proof would respond to such a challenge instantly! No author or scholar worth their salt would hesitate for even a second to "set the record straight" and get their work into an unassailable condition. But not Acharya S.! No, she ignores the challenge! She ducks it! She leaves it open and instead offers a "video response"!
But why go to the trouble to record a video response when all she really had to do was to come to this site and clearly offer concrete proof which could be verified by anyone wishing to see if her claims held water?
The reason is simple. Acharya S. merely rifled through the works of other authors ( works which have been kicking around and sitting on dust-covered shelves and forgotten for decades, and in some cases over a century! ) and while doing this rifling, Acharya pulled out and assembled the elements she wanted in order to support a position she has about religion. This position being that religion is the cause of all the ills and sorrow of mankind, and that mankind is controlled by its religions and also made to do things which would ordinarily wouldn't be done!
Well, Acharya S. assembles all the elements she pulled out of these other sources, and then offered the entire conglomeration to readers as FACT. Not as her opinion. Not as someone else's guesswork. But as FACT.
And along comes Frank and Chris, who then demand proof of the FACT existing, and who even go so far as to put up an open cash-offer challenge in order to obtain the proof.
And as we can all see, Acharya S. has continuously ducked the challenge and has offered all sorts of reasons and excuses in her "video response", but she has failed and failed utterly to back up the content of her book with concrete evidence that any scholar and reputable author would and could easily provide to support their reputation and work's conclusions.
Aziz makes an open admission here by posting a statement that more money is required for Acharya S. and others to bother with taking the challenge. Anyone with any sense and sophistication will immediately see through this and take it as a glaring sign of cowardice and impotence on the part of Acharya S. and all of her mindless, excuse-making, knee-jerk True Believers.
The more excuses about money and/or anything else which deflects attention from the FACT that Acharya S. has failed to respond to this challenge establish her, her work, and her followers as a laughing stock.

Geekto, I'll take your last post (more of the same rubbish & hate) along with your inability to answer my questions about any credentials or qualifications of the people who made the videos here at the Zeitgeist Challenge as your attempt at an apology due to your total lack of integrity and character.

There doesn't appear to be a credential or qualification on the subject between any of them. Including yourself. Geekto you're very easily forgettable.

I'll just write you off as an insane STALKER and add your comments in the "circular file." Your thoughts & opinions are extremely hateful & obnoxious - you've got some very serious issues & I hope you get some help.

Why don't you answer the Zeitgeist Challenge?

"In the first place, I am under no obligation to answer anyone's "challenge." Secondly, the individuals involved in this particular endeavor, along with their followers, have been very impolite and obnoxious, libeling me with all manner of vile epithets and proving themselves entirely unworthy of response. Thirdly, these individuals are biased Christians who are not experts in comparative religion and mythology, know very little about the subject and know almost nothing about my work, but are nonetheless dishonestly presenting themselves as "experts" on me and my work. These are not credible and credentialed individuals upon whose endeavors I need to waste my own time and efforts. I am not inclined to trust the integrity of such dishonest characters who are going against their own religion by bearing false witness against me, which they have repeatedly done with their libelous, slanderous and hateful comments.

Moreover, in reality I have repeatedly addressed these ZG debunkers, in this blog as well as in my video on the subject. Their response has been to slander and libel me further as well as to spend more time demonstrating that they know very little about the subject matter and even less about my work. Again, these are not credible people with integrity. I understand that people whose feelings are hurt by the information I disclose will lash out and grasp anything they can to cling to discredited beliefs, but desperately following such characters who are being mendacious about their credentials and expertise, and who continually slander and libel decent and honest human beings, is really not the answer.

Furthermore, I answered whatever facts among their abundant non-facts and mistruths this so-called challenge may have produced before it was even issued, in my previous books, especially in Suns of God as well as Who Was Jesus? I also have hundreds of articles and other writings on my websites, in my groups and on my forums. These individuals would not know that fact because, even though they dishonestly pretend otherwise, they do not know my work at all.

These individuals need to be challenged themselves to admit to their many mistakes, as well as their vicious campaign of hatred, calumny, slander and libel, which is a mark of a truly low character and which is nothing new but has plagued Christianity from the very beginning. In the meantime, my latest book Christ in Egypt: The Horus-Jesus Connection thoroughly addresses all of the Horus commentary in the ZG movie. I would not expect these individuals to be honest enough to admit that their challenge is met, however. One would hope, nevertheless, that someone in the believing corner has more class, integrity and honesty to deal maturely and with common decency than do these particular individuals.
